Isabelle Melchiori dedicated her life to art and creation. She was born in Paris in 1962 from an Austro-Italian family and studied art at Versaille Beaux-Arts school. After she graduated, Isabelle started her artistic career in cosmetic design and drew perfume bottles. She also created patterns for Haute Couture fabrics. After a few years into design, she decided to go back to painting and to transmit her knowledge and techniques. Four years ago, she founded l'Atelier Isabelle Melchiori in her studio near Montmartre. Isabelle's art is inspired by Italian Renaissance, 19th century Romanticism and symbolist painters such as Klimt and Gustave Moreau. Her style is constantly changing and growing and her art is evolving between symbolism and other artistic movements. Her paintings are often enriched by gold leaf, incrustations and gloss paint effects.
